WOC Radio Collective

WOC Radio is a women of color collective made up of an intergenerational group of artists, writers, journalists, and producers working together to produce a radio series/podcast. Our vision is to mix the stories of everyday people with essays, oral histories, and short fiction in order to create a show that reflects the amazing voices of the communities we come from. In doing so, we seek to tell stories that challenge existing paradigms and interrupt the common social narratives surrounding communities of color by creating spaces for people to speak for themselves.

We are looking to raise $380 to purchase high quality recording equipment that will be collectively shared among our members. In return for your support, we’ll list you as a program sponsor on our website. Any individual contribution above $50 will receive a special gift.
